Family Sports Drop-In

Soccer and baseball skills and games

Tuesdays from 6:30pm - 7:30 pm from July 7 - August 25

This is a family activity.  Children of all ages are welcome.  Parents required to stay with their children and are encouraged to participate.  Bring baseball gloves.

Seniors Drop-In

Every Thursday from noon - 2:00 pm

Come visit with other neighbourhood seniors, play shuffleboard or have a game of cards and enjoy lunch together!  Then peruse the farmers' market when it opens at 2:00pm!

Swim free at outdoor pools this summer!

As a league member, you can enjoy free swimming at three outdoor pools this summer.

Show your 2008-09 league membership card and get free swimming at:

Borden Park & Oliver Pools on Sundays, Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 5pm to 7pm.

Mill Creek Pool from 7:30pm to 9pm everyday of the week.

2008-09 memberships are on half price. The $10 family membership or $5 single is still well worth every dollar.

2009-10 Membership now available

The membership year runs from September 1 to August 31. Next years memberships are available if you need if for fall sports registration. Call the office.

Our membership campaign will kick off in August and run until the end of September. We would like to get as many blocks canvassed as possible. If you are willing to canvass a block or two, let us know. Email: info@albertaave.org

There will be a membership BBQ on Sunday, September 6 from 4pm to 7pm at the community centre. We will be selling memberships and members eat for free!
