A Community League is a volunteer, not-for -profit organization formed to meet the unique needs and interests of residents within a defined geographic area.

The role of a Community League is to:
  • Speak on behalf of their Community League members, and
  • Report on behalf of all residents within the Community League's specified geographic area.
  • Bring neighbours together
  • Provide recreation and social programs
  • Develop amenities
  • Represent community interests to government and other organizations.
