SPARK! YOUTH CAMP

WHAT IS SPARK?!

Do you like to create?
Do you want to learn more about performing, building, or expressing yourself through performance and film?
Do you want to spend two weeks of your summer making new friends and having a completely unique experience that will make an impact?

Then Spark! Youth Camp is for you!

Spark! is a two-week collective creation day-camp that unleashes campers' creative potential through the arts to create an original short film for the whole family.

Here’s how it works!
Spark! campers will work in four, small, dedicated crews to take on all parts of the creative process. Each small crew will express themselves and contribute to the 2024 Spark! Film through performance and technical theatre. Campers will learn about creating stories and characters through performance and about construction, set design, costumes, lighting and sound through technical theatre.
During our two-week camp, Spark! campers will transform the community hall into a fully functional film set complete with professional film, lighting, and sound equipment. Campers will know a ton about every aspect of filmmaking and will have an original film and a bunch of new friends to show for it! A free screening of the film will be held for all participants and their fans in early September.
